TERMS
Terms for using Diff Master
These terms explain the boundaries for using Diff Master’s local browser-based comparison tools. By using the service, you agree to these terms.
Comparisons run locally in your browser.
No sign-up is required and comparison content is not uploaded or stored by Diff Master.
Review important results independently before relying on them.
Acceptable use
Use Diff Master only for lawful purposes and for content you have the right to access, review or compare. Do not use the service to interfere with the site, attempt to bypass security measures, or violate another person’s rights.
Local processing, files and accounts
The comparison tools process the files and text you provide in your browser. Diff Master does not require an account for comparison and does not upload or store your comparison files, text or results as part of the comparison process. Your browser needs to load the current app files before offline use is available.
Accuracy and limitations
Diff results are a reading aid, not a guarantee of completeness, correctness, legal equivalence, security or fitness for a particular purpose. Rendering, font, whitespace, parser and browser differences can affect what a comparison shows. Review important changes independently before relying on them.
Your content and intellectual property
You keep responsibility for the content you compare and for obtaining any permissions required to use it. Diff Master, its name, design, software and site content are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These terms do not grant a license to copy, resell or exploit the service except as allowed by law.
Availability and service changes
We may modify, suspend or discontinue all or part of Diff Master at any time. We do not promise uninterrupted availability, compatibility with every browser or device, or a particular response time for support requests.
Disclaimer and limitation of liability
Diff Master is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of any kind and are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages arising from use of, or inability to use, the service.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms to reflect changes to the service or applicable requirements. The current version is posted on this page. Continued use after an update means you accept the updated terms to the extent permitted by law.
